Starry, our ambassador Great Horned Owl, was born in 1994 and joined our director in the founding of Wildside Rehabilitation and Education Center. That history combined with her very demanding attitude has lent her the nickname of Queen, being the only being that makes decisions over our director. Although she is now retired due to arthritis, she has been an excellent teacher in many education programs and still raises the spiciest of great horned owl babies as a surrogate mother.
